In Memory of Alex Nordquist
In memory of Alex Nordquist, an MCW intern during summer 2014, funds donated in his memory will go towards MCW’s Global Youth Development Programs. During his summer internship, Alex co-interned with Jake Richman. Both attended MCW’s 17th Annual Youth Leadership Program where they assisted the MCW team during the week. While there, Alex interacted, networked and befriended youth from around the world. Alex’s time with MCW affected so many individuals – including our team members.
Below is a message from Alex’s family:
“Alex passed away from complications related to lung infection and multiple organ failure. One of the highlights of his life was working for MCW this summer. The experiences he had and the people he met had great effect on him. He has said many times that his future was in Africa or the Middle East. Unfortunately, he will never get to act on his passions. In lieu of flowers we would like to have people make a donation to MCW to carry on your work, work that Alex felt so passionate about.”
