MCW Welcomes New Country Manager of MC-Zambia
NEW YORK, NY, September 27, 2018 – MCW Global is pleased to announce the appointment of Violet Mwansa as the new country manager of MC-Zambia.
“As our Africa programs continue to grow and evolve, it is important to work with team members who believe in the vision and mission of the organization,” said Khalid Elachi, MCW’s interim Executive Director. “The country manager will help provide meaningful direction to the communities MC-Zambia serves while working closely with the MC-Zambia board and MCW Global Africa Programs director.”
Violet brings over 17 years of experience working with a wide range of international programs, ranging from human rights to education and from youth to women and children.
She has a bachelor’s degree in development studies, a Cambridge diploma in project management and certificates in information technology and library studies. Violet is also currently pursuing a masters in development studies.
Before joining MC-Zambia, Violet worked for ActionAid International and ChildFund International.
