ALUMNI VENTURES FUND TO SUPPORT 12 YOUNG LEADERS ANNUALLY
New York, NY, USA, February 25, 2022 – MCW Global is excited to announce the continued growth of the Alumni Ventures Fund (AVF) program. With the generous support of The Claire Friedlander Family Foundation and Hyman R. and Ruth Shapiro Foundation, Inc., MCW will provide, in each of the next 3 years, two mid-sized grants (up to $5,000 each) and ten seed grants (up to $500) per year, which will allow more alumni to further expand their vision plans and implement projects focusing in the areas of education, health, and economic security in their communities. The expansion of the AVF is a reflection of the impact recipients and their projects have had across the world.
The AVF offers graduates of MCW's international Young Leaders Fellowship Program and the Young Leaders Conference a unique opportunity to turn their vision plans into concrete community-based projects with a start-up grant and a year of professional mentorship. With 21 recipients and more than $76,000 granted since the Fund's founding in 2009, AVF has helped young leaders achieve their personal goals of being changemakers in their communities.

The call for applications for the Alumni Ventures Fund grant 2022 will open in July 2022.
