MCW Global Welcomes New Young Leaders Access Program Manager

 

MCW GLOBAL WELCOMES NEW YOUNG LEADERS ACCESS PROGRAM MANAGER 

NEW YORK, NY, January 21, 2020 – MCW Global is thrilled to announce the appointment of Leon Gojani as the Young Leaders Access Program Manager. Leon will focus on managing and growing the annual Young Leaders Access Program which takes place in New York and Vermont during the summer months followed by a year-long virtual program. Over the last several years, the Young Leaders Access Program has become a leading opportunity for young people around the world to develop critical skills needed to generate positive change in their communities.

Leon brings professional experience working in the sector of youth development and over the past five years, he worked to design projects that engage and encourage young people in his community.

“We are excited to welcome Leon, an alumnus of our Young Leaders Program to the MCW team as the Young Leaders Access Program Manager. In addition to his years of involvement with MCW in various capacities, Leon’s passion and commitment to empowering young leaders will play an important role in the program’s continued impact and growth,” said Khalid Elachi, Executive Director of MCW Global.

Leon’s journey with MCW Global began when first joined as a Young Leaders Access Program mentee in 2015.  Since then, he has returned to the program as a mentor, lead mentor, and facilitator.  Leon has been heavily involved in the Young Leaders Program, including facilitating MCW’s first Young Leaders Conference held in Kosovo in 2017. Leon graduated in Political Science from the University of Prishtina.  He is a passionate, hard-working social justice activist with a positive outlook.
